Melanie Hauck
Melanie Hauck has a BA in Anthropology from Vassar College
and an MBA in Finance from Tulane University. Before she
stayed home to raise her family, she had a marketing career
in product management at Procter & Gamble, in advertising at
Foote, Cone & Belding, and in communications at a hospital
in San Francisco.
While home, Melanie actively volunteered in her children’s
schools and family’s community. During the thirteen years
her children attended Joseph Sears School, she held many
positions, from Room Parent to Decorations Chair for the
annual Benefit. At New Trier, she was a Parents’
Representative for her son’s Advisory. In the community, Melanie was a board member of Kenilworth
Neighbors, Kenilworth Boy Scouts, the Cotillion, was a Cub
Scout Den Leader and is a member of the Kenilworth Clippers
Garden Club. She played tennis and paddle tennis
competitively and was her team’s captain before incurring a knee
injury. In many of
her positions, Melanie was entrusted with the organization’s
funds. This reflects her personal qualities of
trustworthiness, reliability, and strong organizational
skills. In whatever Melanie pursues, she is hardworking,
conscientious, persevering, and meticulous.
Melanie has lived in the North Shore since 1990. She is
married and has three sons, one in college and twins in New Trier High School.
